Lowry Computer Products to Subcontract to SRA International, Inc. on US Army’s PD AMIS pRFID II Contract

Contract will provide logistics, operational, and technical capabilities in support of DOD’s logistics missions

BRIGHTON, MI (PRWEB) May 02, 2013 Lowry Computer Products, the leading enterprise mobility solutions provider and systems integrator of barcode, software and RFID data collection solutions is pleased to announce that it is a member of the SRA International, Inc. Team selected as the prime contractor for the U.S. Army’s Product Management Office (AMIS) pRFID II contract. The US Army PD AMIS pRFID II award is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract valued at $30 million over five years if all options are exercised.

AMIS is the Army Product Management Office for total RFID and AIT solutions. As an RFID technology leader, AMIS provides global asset tracking and web-based RF-ITV services through the upgrade, implementation, and maintenance of the RF-ITV system. AMIS offers a single point of contact for acquisition support and technical expertise for Joint Services, Federal agencies, NATO, and multi-national forces by establishing and maintaining contract vehicles for the procurement of AIT products and services.
